1798 Castlebar Festival Organisers

We are back again for 2024 and running the Race of Castlebar Festival with lots of Music, History & Entertainment over the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
The festival is being ran as a partnership between Castlebar Lions Club, Mayo County Council and other local groups. This is not only an opportunity to showcase Castlebar as the county town and a historical centre at the heart of the 1798 rebellion, it is also an opportunity to invite those who have moved further afield to come home and reconnect with family, family and the town.
The festival will cost in the region of €30000 and you will find information on the website in relation to the festival schedule of events to give you an idea of what is involved.
